Chicken Cam: 6 and 7 Months Old

It seems time has just flown by recently. There has been so much to get done. It occurred to me that I haven’t taken any pictures of the chickens in quite a while and my have they grown! We had such a gorgeous day today. We were just enjoying the beautiful day that God had blessed us with (for the little bit we had at home this afternoon) and so were the chickens.

It’s been 2 1/2 months since Red layed our first egg and almost 1 month since we started getting 5 eggs somewhat consistently. We have 6 pullets. So far we have not found 6 eggs in one day. We are not sure which one of the 6 month old Barred Rocks is not laying yet. Hopefully, she will kick into production soon. I may be biased, but these are some fine looking birds!
