The baby chicks are growing so fast. It amazes me how long their wing feathers are getting. They have a fascination for pecking on the cardboard walls and floors of the box. We love to watch them scratch in the wood chips.
There is still quite a lot of fuzz, but they are no longer pure fuzz balls. Some of them are growing faster than others, but they all astound us. Some of them are already developing the tiny tail feathers. They are starting to get a little bit of “air” in their run, jump, flap trials.
